Post-Super Sunday blues

Ah, the regret of splurging one night on garbage food!  I wonder how many people toss aside their New Year’s Resolutions for good after that weekend.  I had my share of junk food, but I also put in one heck of an elliptical workout (HIIT, of course) yesterday morning. 

Now’s the time to re-focus your efforts.  Consider yesterday your “cheat meal” for the week and move on. 

There may actually be some benefit to splurging once in a while, in that it may rev up one’s metabolism temporarily.  That would best be done with healthy foods, as opposed to beer and chips, but that’s okay.
